     DOT Official: Reports of Closed Bridge on I-90 Are Incorrect

PIERRE, S.D.  – South Dakota Department of Transportation officials say reports that it has closed a bridge on Interstate 90 are incorrect.

A DOT spokesman said Friday afternoon that a semi-trailer hit a bridge on an overpass at Exit 191 on I-90 near Murdo. The bridge sustained some damage, but it was on the overpass, not the interstate roadway itself. The interstate and the overpass both remain open for normal traffic.
