Inlaid Tape Application on Interstate 90 near Sturgis
STURGIS, S.D. – South Dakota Department of Transportation officials say traffic on Interstate 90 near Sturgis is being reduced to one lane for a short-term construction project beginning today (Monday, May 14).
I-90 eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from just west of Exit 32 to about one mile west of Exit 37. Westbound traffic on I-90 will be reduced to one lane for about one-half mile on each side of Exit 32.
Crews will be grinding and placing inlaid striping on those sections of the interstate highway in Meade County.
The work will take about one week, and motorists should expect minimal delays, slowing traffic, and be aware of construction equipment and workers.
