U.S. Highway 12 Grade Raise East of Roscoe

ROSCOE, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation began paving operations today (Tuesday, May 15) on U.S. Highway 12 east of Roscoe. 

That section of roadway flooded last spring, and a project to raise the grade was started last summer; the current paving project will complete the work. 

Traffic will be controlled with a pilot car and flaggers while the paving operation is active. Motorists can expect five- to 10-minute delays.

 All work should be completed on the Highway 12 project within two weeks.
