Box Culvert Replacement Over Slick Creek

CAMP CROOK, S.D. – A contractor for the South Dakota Department of Transportation will begin work on Lewton Road, Northwest of Camp Crook in Harding County, on Monday, July 16.

Crews will replace the existing bridge over Slick Creek with a box culvert.     

Lewton Road will be closed at Slick Creek during construction. Motorists should watch for construction equipment and workers in the area.

The $323,000 project has an overall completion date of Oct. 12. Heavy Constructors, Inc. of Rapid City is the prime contractor.
