    I-229 and Benson Road Interchange Construction

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Starting today, (Sept.13) the South Dakota Department of Transportation will begin concrete pavement repair on the Interstate 229 and Benson Road interchange northbound and southbound on-ramps.

Crews will be breaking and removing the existing damaged concrete pavement and replacing it with new concrete pavement.

Northbound and southbound I-229 and Benson Road on-ramp traffic will be maintained on the interstate ramp with the width of the ramp being narrowed through the work areas.

The project is anticipated to be completed by Thursday, (Sept. 27).

The prime contractor is Dakota Contracting Corporation of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
