Bridge Painting to Begin on Missouri River Bridge West of Mobridge

MOBRIDGE, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation advises motorists that painting of the Missouri River bridge on U.S. Highway 12 west of Mobridge will begin on Monday (Sept. 24).

The work is expected to take four to five weeks to complete.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane on the bridge during working hours and will be controlled by flaggers. Normal two-way traffic will be restored during non-working hours. The contractor will accommodate over-width loads by moving equipment off the bridge as needed.

Seaway Painting is the prime contractor.
