Interstate 90 / Cliff Avenue Interchange Ramp Closures

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation says the Interstate 90 passing lanes for eastbound and westbound through-traffic at the Cliff Avenue interchange in Sioux Falls will be closed starting Wednesday (Oct. 10).

Work is being done to construct temporary detour ramps within the Cliff Ave. / I-90 Interchange and will continue through mid-November.

The I-90 west and eastbound on- and off-ramps will remain open to vehicles with traffic reduced to one lane in each direction.

Motorists should expect minor delays though the construction areas and stay alert for workers, equipment, lane closures, lane shifts and suddenly slowing traffic.

Speed will be reduced to 45 miles-per-hour in the construction zones while workers are present, and motorists are reminded that fines are doubled in work-zone areas.

For more information, contact the Sioux Falls Area Department of Transportation office at 605-367-5680.

Complete road construction information can be found at www.safetravelusa.com/sd or by dialing  511.
