Work on I-90 and Cliff Avenue Interchange in Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – On Friday afternoon, Aug. 16, traffic will be switched to two-way traffic on the newly constructed southbound lanes of Cliff Avenue to facilitate reconstruction of the northbound lanes of Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls, according to the South Dakota Department of Transportation.

Thru traffic will be maintained at all times. Cliff Avenue interchange ramp traffic will be maintained, but the width of the ramps will be narrower during the construction.

Motorists should expect delays through the construction area and stay alert for workers, equipment, lane closures, lane shifts and sudden slowing of traffic.

The work is part of the $17. 4 million Interstate 90 and Cliff Avenue interchange project. The prime contractor is T&R Contracting, Inc. of Sioux Falls; the interim completion date is Nov. 8.

Complete road construction information can be found at www.safetravelusa.com/sd or by dialing 511.
