Highway 16A/Iron Mountain Road Construction

CUSTER, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation says work to replace a 60-inch concrete pipe on Highway 16A will be done on Tuesday, April 29.

This work will require the road to be closed to traffic for one day at mile marker 44.61.

Motorists will need to find an alternate route until work is completed.

Replacement of this pipe is in preparation for the resurfacing of Highway 16A, Iron Mountain Road.

The prime contractor on the $4.3 million project is Bituminous Paving, Inc. out of Ortonville, Minn.
