BUFFALO, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation says crews are scheduled to begin ADA curb ramp upgrades in the city of Buffalo along highways 85 and 20 on Monday, May 1.

The work includes grading and installing curbs ramps at various intersections.

Pedestrians will be provided a safe path of travel during the construction operations.

Motorists are asked to slow down in work zones and be prepared for suddenly slowing, merging and stopped traffic as well as pedestrians, construction workers and equipment adjacent to the roadway.

Work is scheduled to be completed by May 31.

The prime contractor on this $200,000 project is Ti-Zack Concrete, Inc., of Le Center, Minnesota.
