WATERTOWN, SD – The South Dakota Department of Transportations says the southbound on and off-ramps for Interstate 29 Exit 332/Sisseton will be closed to all traffic from Tuesday, Aug. 21, through Thursday, Aug. 23.

Motorists will need to use an alternate route for those three days.

The contractor will be reconstructing the southbound lanes through the exit.

Drivers are reminded to slow down through the construction zone and to be aware of flaggers, workers and equipment adjacent to the driving lanes. Motorists should also be prepared for suddenly slowing and merging traffic.

This reconstruction project includes grading, concrete paving, bridge chip seals and roadway lighting.

Michels Corp. is the prime contractor on this $14 million project that has an overall completion date of Oct. 26, 2018.
