Eastbound I-90 Exit 402 Ramps Closing

Sioux Falls, SD – The South Dakota Department of Transportation will be closing the eastbound on and off ramps of Exit 402 on Interstate 90 on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018.


The ramps will be closed to construct ramps for the new Veteran’s Parkway Interchange.  Eastbound traffic wanting to go north at Exit 402 will be directed to use Exit 406 (Brandon). 


The ramps will remain closed until the new interchange is complete and opened to traffic next year, approximately Oct. 18, 2019.


The project has an overall completion date of Aug. 28, 2020.


The prime contractor on this $55.6 million project is Riley Brothers Construction of Morris, Minnesota.
