Sign Bridge Removal work to Begin on East 10th Street in Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation says crews will be removing the overhead sign bridges on East 10th Street at the I-229 Interchange in Sioux Falls starting Wednesday, Oct. 31.

 

The westbound lanes of East 10th Street will be closed to traffic on Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and the eastbound lanes of East 10th Street will be closed to traffic on Nov. 1, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Motorists will need to find an alternate route during these time frames.

 

The field work completion date for the project is Nov. 15.

 

The prime contractor for the $16,500 project is Action Electric from Sioux Falls.
