Clearing Work to Begin for Jackson Blvd. Project

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Work will begin on Friday, Sept. 30 to remove vegetation and temporarily relocate a select number of property fences that lay within the state highway right of way on Jackson Blvd. 

The purpose of this project is to clear an area within the right of way to allow existing utilities on Jackson Blvd. an opportunity to complete their relocation process before work begins on Jackson Blvd. in 2012.

Crews will be working on the south side of Jackson Boulevard on a 1000 ft. segment, east of Sheridan Lake Road.  All work will be accomplished outside of the roadway of Jackson Blvd.
