U.S. Highway 385 Pavement Repairs

Deadwood, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation will be reducing traffic on U.S. Highway 385, south of  Deadwood, to one lane beginning Tuesday, October 4, so crews can perform pavement repair work.

The closures will take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Traffic will be guided through the area by flaggers and delays up to 10 minutes can be expected. Two-way traffic will be restored during non-working hours. Travelers should allow extra travel time until the work is complete.

Work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, October 7.               

Sacrison Paving Inc. of Whitewood is the contractor on the $323,000 project.
