U.S. Highway 12 to be Reduced to Two Lanes in Aberdeen

 

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Railroad crossing repair work will begin on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, at 8 a.m. CDT to repair damage to the railroad crossing in the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 12 in Aberdeen, near the 5th St intersection. 

Traffic will be shifted to the eastbound lanes with one lane of traffic open in both directions.

The work is expected to be completed in one day, with all lanes being returned to traffic sometime in the afternoon on Thursday after the repair work is completed by BNSF crews.
