West Avenue Traffic Control

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation will open the intersection of West Avenue and Bailey Street in Sioux Falls to full use on Friday, October 27, 2011.

At that time, the west half of the West Avenue and Madison Street intersection will be closed to allow for construction work in that area. North/south traffic on West Avenue will be maintained in a head to head fashion on the northbound lanes between Russell Street and 6^th Street.

It is anticipated that traffic will be restored to their respective northbound and southbound lanes by November 18, 2011.

The prime contractor is Dakota Contracting of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
